Welcome to my music class! My name is Lisa Carter and I am happy to be teaching music at Rosemont Elementary School for the 2017/2018 school year.

Students will experience music through singing, moving, and playing instruments. Our curriculum is rigorous and engaging and will have students actively participating in music performance, literacy, and history.
​
Students in Grades 4 and 5 will be learning or continuing to learn and play the recorder as part of their music curriculum. Students can check out a school instrument for the year or they can purchase a recorder. If you choose to purchase a recorder, please use Angel Recorders and the White Recorders by Yamaha. They can be purchased at EGO Music on Upton Drive or Music and Arts by Lynnhaven Mall.

As the school year begins, I look forward to teaching the students at Rosemont and developing their appreciation for music.
